Powdered Food Recipes

Master Mix:

Ingredients

Zeigler Zebrafish Granule = 2000g

Spirulina Flake = 500g

Cyclopeeze = 200g

Golden Pearl 300-500 = 8 oz.

Golden Pearl 500-800 = 8 oz.

Directions

Cyclopeeze, because it is freeze dried, must be blended in a food processor to break up

clumps. Spirulina must also be blended as the flake size is too large for Zebrafish. Blend

spirulina until it is still flakey but not yet powdery. Zeigler Zebrafish granule and Golden

Pearl require no additional processing. All ingredients should be added together in a

large airtight container and mixed thoroughly.

Zeigler Juvenile Mix (for fish between 21 and 90 days of age):

Ingredients

250-450 micron Zeigler Larval Diet Powder

150-250 micron Zeigler Larval Diet Powder

Directions

Mix equal parts (by weight) of 250-450 and 150-250 Zeigler Larval Diet. Date opened

canisters and store in food freezer.

Zeigler Nursery Mix (for fish up to 21 days of age):

Ingredients

150> Zeigler Larval Diet Powder

150-250 Zeigler Larval Diet Powder

Directions

Mix equal parts (by weight) of 150> and 150-250 Zeigler Larval Diet powder. Date

opened canisters and store in food freezer. To prepare for nursery feeding, suspend a .5

gram spoonful of powder in 250mls fish water. Feed each cages of 50 fish 5mls.
